Marine industry’s hottest topics, SeaFocus and Intelligence Hunt
Navigate, Nordic Maritime Expo on 22-23 January 2020 offers participants the opportunity to network, create new contacts and reinforce existing ones.
Navigate 2020 will bring together over 200 companies showcasing their expertise. This is your chance to meet representatives from companies like Meyer Turku, Stevena, Port of Naantali, ESL Shipping and many others.
The programme themes include digitalisation, green shipping and the marine industry, future of knowledge and know-how, without forgetting the exciting Intelligence Hunt 2020 student competition final.
SeaFocus is a business platform with a modern, dynamic approach. It works with top-level decision makers and experts and focuses on bringing the most topical issues of global maritime business under discussion. The aim is also to make the maritime logistics and shipbuilding industry attractive to future generations.
The Intelligence Hunt project brings together both maritime supply chain related business and the industry’s potential future workforce – students. Talented students and professional mentors with industry background are connected, whereafter they start to work on real business case assignments. The project culminates in the finals, where the teams present their solutions and high-level inspirational industry speakers share their views with the audience.
Jury members are Technical University of Denmark Professor Harilaos N Psaraftis (GR); Shipbrokers Finland general manager Sari Turkkila (FI), and DFDS director, environment and sustainability, Poul Woodall (DK).
The moderators are: Kho Management Netherlands senior advisor Frank Kho, container logistics and terminal industry (HK); HPMlog, Project & Management Consultants senior consultant Dr Rolf Neise, supply chain management (DE); Wärtsilä renewable energy innovations director Johanna Fräki (FI).
Chairman of the Jury is Ahlers Trade Facilitation commercial director, Ulla Keino, Trade Facilitation and After Sales Support, international responsibility, Russia (FI).
