Offshore wind installation company OHT has appointed Dr Jennie Kevis-Stirling and Dr Julian Steward as business development and tendering managers
Dr Kevis-Stirling brings more than 17 years specialist expertise in subsea and survey disciplines and a strong client-facing commercial background. She will lead OHT’s risk management, noise mitigation, geoscience and ROV activities in relation to the company’s offshore wind installation work.
Dr Steward brings 29 years of offshore equipment design and construction experience, and technical, business development and commercial acumen. He will be developing new market opportunities with a particular focus on seabed intervention systems.
The company has recently announced the addition of two jack-up installation vessels to its fleet. The GustoMSC NG-14000XL-G vessels, designed to install the next generations of wind turbines, will be delivered from 2023 onwards.
OHT’s first foundation installation vessel, Alfa Lift, which is custom-designed and built for the installation of extra-large offshore wind foundations, will be delivered in Q4 2021 and will start work installing monopiles on the Dogger Bank A and B offshore windfarms in the UK in 2022-23.
