Chinese ballast water management system (BWMS) maker SunRui has received “more and more large orders” since it secured US Coast Guard type-approval for its BalClor system in June last year.
Its senior purchasing manager Helen Li told BWTT yesterday (4 September) that its most recent significant order was signed on 22 August with Eastern Pacific Shipping and Raffles Ship Management covering systems to be retrofitted to 22 vessels. The contract is worth US$14.6M and was signed by SunRui general manager Fu Hongtian during while he was visiting clients in Singapore.
“SunRui has been committed to enhancing strategic partnerships with shipowners all over the world,” Ms Li said.
