Stockholm-listed Trelleborg is to demonstrate its new integrated ship-shore link (SSL) and emergency-shutdown systems (ESDS) for LNG shipping at the Kormarine exhibition in Busan, South Korea.
Trelleborg will also showcase its ship performance technology and worldwide service capability at Kormarine. Some 40,000 people are expected to attend this year’s show in Busan.
“We have a major centre in Busan supporting all of our oil and gas transfer and vessel technology products, so it’s great to be able to attend such a large and prestigious international show locally,” says Trelleborg marine systems operation president Richard Hepworth.
Marine systems specialist Trelleborg claims to be a world leader designing and manufacturing advanced marine fenders, oil and gas transfer, ship performance, docking and mooring, surface buoyancy and service and support.
The Trelleborg Group makes annual sales worth US$3.3 billion in more than 40 countries.
