The Eregli Shipyard in Turkey has delivered the fourth small clean tanker to associated company Med Marine
YMN Tanker has taken delivery of another tanker from the Eregli Shipyard in Turkey. The Turkish tanker operator presently has nine chemical/oil tankers in its fleet and a further four units are expected to join the fleet in the near future.
It joins sister ships Med Tuncer delivered in April 2019 and Med Antarctic delivered August 2017.
Med Emre is an 8,400-dwt chemical/oil tanker powered by a MAK/8M32C main engine developing 4,000 KW at 600 rpm.
The cargo area is divided into 12 cargo tanks by oil-tight corrugated transverse bulkheads and a longitudinal bulkhead along the centreline giving the vessel full segregation. Marineline cargo tank coating has been applied to all cargo tanks. Med Emre is also equipped with two slop tanks on deck.
