Offshore wind services group Venterra has strengthened its presence in the Asia Pacific region with an enhanced Oceanscan facility in Singapore
Oceanscan has operated in Singapore for several years. The new, larger facility scales up its capability and provides expanded office, storage, testing and mobilisation space.
Acquired by Venterra in 2024, Oceanscan provides subsea and non‑destructive testing and inspection equipment, geotechnical services and specialist personnel. Its expanded Singapore base is the latest milestone in Oceanscan’s growth trajectory and Venterra’s increasingly international footprint.
Mirroring the capabilities of its Aberdeen headquarters, Oceanscan’s new site establishes a permanent regional base to deliver equipment, services and solutions for offshore projects. It is supported by a team of 14 specialists, reflecting both established capability in the region and strong foundations for future growth.
Alongside the office, the facility provides onsite equipment storage, testing, mobilisation and project delivery capability. Its closer proximity to clients enables better alignment with schedules, reduced lead times and greater operational flexibility for offshore campaigns.
The investment follows a period of strong year-on-year performance for Oceanscan Group, including 54% growth in subsea rental revenue and continued market share gains across its international bases in 2025. Regional growth has included a 30% increase in the Americas, and 33% growth in the Asia region.
