Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) Singapore has secured a third-party ship management contract for an anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel with Brunei-based offshore marine services company Lantana Services Sdn Bhd
VOS Singapore will manage the anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel ENA Shogun, which is dynamic positioning class 2 capable, has 500 m2 of deck space, with 200 tonnes of bollard pull and 16,314 bhp. Built by Universal Keihin Shipbuilding in Japan in 2011, Singapore-flagged ENA Shogun has an overall length of 75 m, beam of 18m and draught of 5 m, with FiFi1 notation. Now owned by Eastern Navigation Pte Ltd, according to the Equasis, ENA Shogun was owned by Japan’s Sanko Steamship and operated under the Liberia flag as Sanko Energy.
ENA Shogun will primarily support semi-submersible rigs for a Brunei oil company under a one-year contract that contains options for additional work.
Vroon Offshore Services Pte Ltd is based in Singapore. The company operates a fleet of some 25 AHTS and platform supply vessels, with DP 1 and DP 2 class capabilities in southeast Asia.
