The Netherlands-based Z-Bridge BV says its bring-to-work system is supporting Louis Dreyfus Travocean on the Saint Nazaire offshore windfarm in France
The bring-to-work personnel and cargo transfer system is supporting inter-array cable installation work.
The motion-compensated bring-to-work system is installed on the service operation vessel Wind of Pride and is being used to transfer windfarm personnel and to hoist cargo of up to 1.6 tonnes.
Having been successfully demonstrated at sea on MHO-Co’s CTV Esbjerg late in 2020, the innovative system has been ordered for a trio CTVs that will work on Ørsted’s Hornsea Two offshore windfarm, supporting the construction phase of the project.
The bring-to-work system is fully motion-compensated and allows teams of technicians to transfer in a trolley, direct from the deck of a CTV to the platform. Cargo can also be transferred using it. It is suitable for operation from small vessels and can be mobilised at any port using a standard telescopic crane.
