When Jets™ launched the first Vacuumarator pump onto the market in 1989, it revolutionised sanitary systems on ships worldwide. It was far more compact, efficient and reliable than any previous system.
Jets further cemented its position as the world leader in vacuum sanitary systems, when another significant milestone was reached in 2000. The Vacuumarator pump as we know it today was released. Benefits included inline vacuum generation, no foaming, fully integrated macerator, no need for a collecting tank, more compact size, simple and flexible installation, easy retrofits, and very low energy consumption.
Now this technology has taken a quantum leap yet again. Through an uncompromising focus on refining the technology through research and innovation, Jets present their newest Vacuumarator pump: Jets Edge.
“Our latest vacuum pump revolution, Jets Edge, has significantly increased its capacity, with even lower energy consumption,” said Jets Vacuum AS chief executive Øyvind Tørlen.
Provides maximum efficiency
The Vacuumarator is already the world’s leading brand in its segment. However, we always work tirelessly to perfect it. The new Jets Edge Vacuumarator pump is the result of years of research and hard work. Jets Edge represents yet another breakthrough for this technology, by providing maximum effect and capacity, paired with a minimum use of energy and water, according to Mr Tørlen.
The system has a very low water consumption, thus meeting the growing concerns about water shortages worldwide. In addition, tests show Jets Edge is even more energy efficient than its predecessors. These factors make Jets Edge a sound choice for the environment.
Always at the forefront of the industry
More than 60,000 Vacuumarator pumps by Jets are currently in operation around the world.
“Many have tried to copy our system, but none can come close to matching the extreme flexibility, high capacity and unparalleled reliability of the original Vacuumarator pump. The new Jets Edge will propel us even further ahead of the competition,” said Mr Tørlen.
Ease and reliability
Jets Edge comes in two versions: EdgeM01 and EdgeM01-D, which is especially designed to handle larger volumes of fluids.
The pump is easy to replace in existing systems, and as all Jets products are easy to install. Edge can be used in ships, yachts, cabins, trains – anywhere a compact, high-capacity and low-energy sanitary system is needed, using a minimum of water.
Jets Edge will be available for purchase from September 2018.
