Serenity can be combined with cargo insurance to receive full compensation
A statement explains “Serenity deductible guarantee is a solution for the Group’s clients that can be combined with a cargo insurance to get a reimbursement by CMA CGM of the deductible that remains normally at their expense in case of damage to their goods. The clients benefit from up to 100% compensation for minor damage (not compensated by their insurer) and a door-to-door guarantee for the full transportation phase.”
In addition to the deductible guarantee, Serenity solutions include a cargo value guarantee which allows quick compensation for clients whose goods may have been damaged or lost during transport and provides a refund of up to 100% of the real value of the goods in less than 30 days. It also includes the Serenity container guarantee, which offers a guarantee in case of accidental damage to the containers the client would be liable for.
Serenity has been launched as part of CMA CGM+, where products are tailored to specific needs. CMA CGM+ offers a range of solutions that complement its conventional maritime transport and logistics services. These customised solutions include meeting customer expectations that span protecting their cargo, growing their business or acting towards carbon neutrality.
CMA CGM announced earlier this month that its customers will be able to select biomethane via ’Act’ with CMA CGM+ range of services, paving the way for a substantial reduction in the environmental impact of shipping their goods.
