Europe’s quick pivot to alternative natural gas supplies is underpinning billions of dollars in investments in FSRUs to fast-track LNG imports. The primary example of where this is happening is Germany. Projects are being delivered in record time as part of a national plan to replace 50 to 60 per cent of Russian gas through LNG in 2023.
