International maritime law firm Campbell Johnston Clark (CJC) has promoted Helen McCormick and Andrew Shannon to partners as it expands advisory services in the shipping sector
CJC has offices in London and Newcastle, UK, in Singapore and Miami, US. Ms McCormick will remain based in London and Mr Shannon will work from Singapore.
The law firm advises all aspects of shipping from ship finance to dry shipping, marine insurance and comprehensive casualty handling.
Ms McCormick, an experienced disputes lawyer specialising in dry claims involving charterparties, cargo, shipbuilding contracts, ship sale and purchase, and offshore contracts, joined CJC on the acquisition of CTRL Marine Solutions in 2021.
Solicitor and master mariner Mr Shannon specialises in admiralty law, advising on casualties and contractual disputes. He also has substantial experience of commercial and statutory issues surrounding crew, shipmanagement, marine insurance and security.
