CyberOwl strengthens board with new strategic advisor

His appointment comes as CyberOwl plans its next phase of growth and intends to scale-up its market reach by enhancing its service model with new products and technology offerings.

Mr Spithout brings extensive experience and knowledge in the fields of commercial strategy, technology and digital innovation in the maritime industry. He was previously president of Immarsat Maritime and is the current chief executive of MariDisc.

CyberOwl has accelerated its expansion across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific and raised finance in a recent round of funding.

It is currently expanding strategic alliances with local partners around the world and supporting its maritime cyber-security monitoring and analytics solution Medulla, which is used on more than 2,000 vessels.
