Maritime satellite communications enabler Intelsat has hired David Wajsgras as its new chief executive officer
Mr Wajsgras has 20 years of experience at senior executive management level, providing operational, strategic and financial leadership in both the commercial and defence industries. He will replace Stephen Spengler when he retires on 4 April.
Mr Wajsgras has served as president of the intelligence, information and services business at Raytheon Technologies and as Raytheon’s chief financial officer He was also executive vice president and chief financial officer at Lear Corp.
Intelsat operates a large integrated satellite and terrestrial communications network providing VSAT services to the maritime and offshore sectors.
