MDL appoints chief commercial officer for global growth
A UK-headquartered deck machinery provider has expanded its leadership team to extend its international footprint
Maritime Developments Ltd (MDL) has appointed Gary Wilson as its new chief commercial officer to support overseas growth.
He brings more than 30 years of international experience in the energy sector and expanding operations across Europe, the Middle East and Americas.
Mr Wilson has previously held roles at Ferguson Group and Texo Group and most recently was chief commercial officer at ACE Winches.
MDL chief executive Derek Smith said Mr Wilson will use his commercial insight and leadership “to strengthen MDL’s position in the global market.”
MDL supplies equipment to offshore support vessels handling subsea flowlines, risers and umbilicals during their installation on oil and gas projects. It has bases in the UK, France, USA, Brazil and Singapore.
