Miclyn Express Offshore announces new chief executive

Mr Ang has been with Miclyn Express Offshore for 22 years and was most recently deputy chief executive. Before that he has served as chief marketing officer and chief operating officer.

Mr Ang has also previously served as an assistant engineer with AP Moller-Maersk, a petroleum surveyor at DNV and marine consultant at Bureau Veritas, and he has worked for SvitzerWijsmuller and Express Offshore Transport in the past.

Mr Ang attended the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree (first class) in marine engineering. He is a member of the Institute of Marine Engineers, the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers and the Singapore Institute of Management.
