PXGEO expands senior leadership team with first CIO

PXGEO has hired Chet Bhat as its first chief information officer, to lead its digital strategy.

While taking on this new position, Mr Bhat will retain his current position as global chief information officer at energy services organisation EnerMech. Both companies have common shareholders and executives with EnerMech chief executive Charles Davison also positioned as PXGEO’s executive chairman.

Mr Bhat will lead IT at PXGEO from its base in Houston, Texas, US. He brings more than three decades of information technology experience to the seismic data acquisition sector.

He has held several senior positions within the energy and digital sectors, including as a chief information officer at GE Oil & Gas and Roper Technologies Energy Services, and head of IT at Maverick Natural Resources.
