A seismic survey provider has introduced a new chief of finance as it seeks new opportunities for sustainable growth
PXGEO has appointed Ammar Chattha as its chief financial officer to further strengthen the company’s financial position and support its next stage of progress. He succeeds Hans-Peter Burlid who has become the company’s chief strategy and transformation officer.
Mr Chattha joins PXGEO from an unnamed global management consultancy where he was most recently a director, spending seven years in UK and Middle East. Prior to this, he spent four years at KPMG in London, UK, within the financial advisory and valuations practice.
At PXGEO, Mr Chattha will be responsible for further strengthening PXGEO’s financial foundations, improving discipline and the efficient allocation of capital. He is a qualified chartered accountant and chartered financial analyst.
PXGEO chief executive Charles Davison expects Mr Chattha to guide the company’s future growth.
“Financial leadership is about more than numbers, it is about guiding decisions that shape the future of the business,” said Mr Davison. “Under Mr Chattha’s guidance, we are well-positioned to seize new opportunities and accelerate sustainable growth.”
