Richard Steady joins Derecktor Shipyards

He will be based out of Derecktor Dania, Florida where he will be responsible for overall operations and development at Derecktor’s Florida and New York shipyards.

This appointment comes as Derecktor opens a new shipyard in Fort Pierce, Florida and improves other facilities in the US.

Mr Steady began his career at global shipping and transportation company Maritrans, where he rose to the position of director of government and regulatory affairs.

He also held roles at marine construction and dredging operator Weeks Marine and in transportation and salvage business American Marine Corp.
