A maritime digital platform for shipowners, operators, charterers and insurers has hired a chief officer for future growth
Smart Ship Hub Digital has appointed Uday Bhaskarwar as its chief growth officer to drive innovation and the company’s growth strategies.
This comes as the Singapore start-up introduces its first products, powered by artificial intelligence, for vessel optimisation, voyage planning, weather routeing, machinery condition, health monitoring and predictive diagnostics.
Mr Bhaskarwar has experience in senior leadership roles at global technology firms and successful start-ups.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Mr Bhaskarwar is co-founder and chief executive of Aikya Technologies Inc and was previously a strategic advisor, group chief operating officer and non-executive director at iLink Digital, founder and director of Thinking Hut IT Solutions and vice president at Infosys Technologies.
