Vikas Trivedi joins the Singapore-based shipmanager as co-chief executive shipmanagement, tanker and gas carrier division
Veteran shipmanagement executive Vikas Trivedi has joined Singapore-based Synergy Marine Group as its co-chief executive, shipmanagement.
In his new role, Mr Trivedi will lead Synergy’s tanker and gas carrier division, working closely with Ajay Chaudhry, co-chief executive, who heads the group’s dry vessel portfolio.
Mr Trivedi has almost 25 years senior leadership experience and joins Synergy from Anglo-Eastern Shipmanagement (Singapore), where he served as managing director. A Class 1 marine chief engineer and alumnus of DMET Kolkata, he has managed diverse fleets and spearheaded initiatives on alternative fuels, including ammonia readiness. His contributions span classification society technical committees and Shell’s Partners in Maritime Safety programme.
One of the world’s largest shipmanagers, Synergy Marine Group manages a diversified portfolio of over 700 vessels, including LNG carriers, LPG vessels, container ships, bulk carriers and offshore assets, and employs over 28,000 seafarers.
