International Registries, Inc. and its affiliates (IRI) provide administrative and technical support to the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Maritime and Corporate Registries. The RMI Registry is one of the leading registries in the world, surpassing 180 million gross tons with 4,842 vessels at the end of February 2021.
IRI has a network of 28 worldwide offices located in major shipping and financial centers throughout the world that have the ability to register a vessel or yacht, including those under construction, record a mortgage or financing charter, incorporate a company, issue seafarer documentation, and service clientele.
The RMI is not only white listed with the Paris and Tokyo Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), but has also maintained QUALSHIP 21 status with the United States Coast Guard for 16 consecutive years, which is unprecedented. In addition, the RMI meets the flag criteria for a low risk ship under the Paris and Tokyo MoU’s New Inspection Regimes. These factors, in addition to the Registry’s investment in people and expertise, also contribute to the overall growth of the Registry.
The most important asset to the RMI Registry is its customers and IRI strives to provide them with full service from any office, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By continuing to strengthen its team worldwide, IRI ensures a high level of customer service and continuous improvement of registry related services for the increasing number of RMI flagged vessels.
