Jan de Nul completes turbine installation work on German windfarm

All 32 offshore wind turbines on the windfarm have now been installed and mechanically completed.

Jan De Nul’s jack-up installation vessel Taillevent started turbine installation work mid-2019 but had to leave the project in mid-February 2020 to undertake commitments in Taiwan.

Installation work for the remaining turbines was completed using the jack-up Blue Tern.

Jan De Nul Group and its subcontractor Global Wind Service subsequently finalised mechanical completion of the turbines to have them ready for commissioning by TWBII.
