Fleet crewing-program developer Adonis has joined forces with Tritan Software to develop health and safety solutions for the maritime industry, particular for passenger shipping
They will jointly develop software to streamline crewing, payroll, medical management and incident reporting systems for shipowners, operators and managers. Their programs will combine Adonis’s crewing and payroll systems with Tritan’s health information and incident management platform.
Adonis said this would enable cruise and ferry organisations to safely re-enter the market as the global economy rebounds from the global pandemic. It will also be available to other shipping sectors for crewing and health and safety management.
“As the global economy begins re-opening, streamlining crewing and payroll with integrated health management and incident reporting will allow maritime organisations to safely re-enter the market and aggressively relaunch their businesses around the world,” said Adonis product director Erick Meijer.
“In a post-pandemic world, it will be critical to accurately capture and report health-related data to maintain robust business continuity,” he continued.
“Working with Tritan will allow us to continue building and innovating, keeping the health, safety, and well-being of all crew at the forefront of everything we do.”
Adonis HR platform will enable organisations to host and consolidate all their crewing, human resources and payroll processes using a central database.
Tritan’s health information and incident management platform allows organisations to manage every aspect of medical operations across a fleet of ships, among crew members and medical providers.
It facilitates reporting, trending and analysis of incidents for health, environmental, safety, quality, security and technology.
“Our combined platform solutions have contributed immensely to the benefit of the maritime industry and they will continue to promote tremendously positive change across areas that represent critical components for all maritime operators,” said Tritan Software head of strategic partnerships Nedko Panayotov.
“Tritan and Adonis have proven to be the stimulus for radically improved processes with a positive impact on the countless seafarer’s lives affected by our innovation,” he said.
Adonis software was adopted by Havila Shipping and Tronds Marine for crewing and payroll management in 2020.
