Mutual users can now access personalised port disbursement data and send port DA requests from the Veson IMOS Platform to DIABOS’ 2.5 and 3.0 platforms. Additionally, they can nominate agents directly from the IMOS Platform, streamlining the entire process.
DIABOS, a part of Indian marine services firm JM Baxi Group, will join Veson’s growing Platform Partner Network, which establishes native integrations with strategic systems to enable greater connectivity and reduce manual processes.
Agent activity, document handling and port disbursement management are fundamental to successful and profitable voyage operations and the joint offering aims to negate the complexity associated with traditional paper-based disbursement.
Through their integrated software and service approach, users are empowered with deep, data-driven connectivity to reduce manual processes, unlock powerful insights, minimise fluctuations on voyage P&L, and achieve continuity across their entire organisation.
DIABOS chief executive Meera Kumar said, “Our mission is to redefine the landscape of stakeholder management and port cost management for shipowners and operators. The partnership between DIABOS and Veson represents a significant step forward in revolutionising port operations. By leveraging integrated technologies, shipowners and operators can expect a smoother experience at port, reduced administrative work, and improved accuracy in disbursement accounting.”
Maritime software firm 90POE and Harbor Lab have also inked a strategic integration partnership, uniting 90POE’s digital platform OpenOcean STUDIO with Harbor Lab’s e-disbursement platform.
The integration of both services will allow customers to plan, manage and optimise engagements with port agents, resulting in substantial time and cost savings. The partners explained this will streamline port call planning, and improve co-ordination and operational transparency for customers.
