Offshore Support Journal Conference, Asia 2024

09:00 - 17:00
Singapore

Growing demand, tight availability, robust outlook

OSJ Asia, the premier annual event for the offshore energy and offshore vessels sector, returns to Singapore on 17-18 September 2024.

The Asia Pacific region is witnessing increased energy demand, which is driving extensive offshore exploration and production activities. Consequently, there is a huge increase in the demand for OSVs to service these projects. Growth in the region is not only driven by traditional oil and gas activity, but increased interest in the offshore wind sector is also driving demand for more versatile platform supply vessels. Where will these assets come from?

OSJ Asia offers a unique platform for key stakeholders to discuss and debate trends and drivers, the challenges that come with a booming industry, while sharing their experiences and knowledge, aiding development in this complex and dynamic industry.

The two-day programme will focus on the opportunities and challenges in the local and international offshore sector. Expert speakers will provide a comprehensive insight into todays’ energy markets, vessel shortages, supply and demand, opportunities in the subsea and offshore wind sectors and energy transition.

The issues to be addressed by leading players in the OSV sector include:

  • The challenge of increasing demand and dwindling supply
  • What will utilisation and day rates look like over the next 6-12 months?
  • When will the industry see the next phase of newbuilds?
  • Is competitive financing still available?
  • Developments in automated and smart OSVs
  • What does the OSV of the future look like?
