Fincantieri Marine appoints new CEO
Fincantieri Marine Group and its board of directors have promoted general manager Marco Galbiati to the position of chief executive, effective 6 July
Mr Galbiati replaces chief executive Dario Deste, who remains Fincantieri’s president, having held the position of general manager since 2018.
Mr Galbiati started his business career in 1996 with Sapio Group and joined Fincantieri in 2007, where he served as a leader in various financial departments, becoming head of financial planning and controls for construction of naval vessels and cruise ships.
Mr Galbiati has a degree in economics from the University of Pavia.
