Steerprop appoints Arctic segment director

This appointment further strengthens Steerprop’s expertise in designing, manufacturing and supplying propulsion units for the Arctic market.

Mr Ekegren, as a master mariner, has held various top management roles at Arctia since 2016, the most recent being manager of global chartering sales and operations.

He is a seasoned professional in icebreaking, Arctic and offshore multipurpose operations, bringing more than 25 years of experience to Steerprop’s already strong team of Arctic experts.

In his new role as Arctic segment director, Mr Ekegren will be responsible for developing the sales and lifecycle solutions of Steerprop’s Arctic business area.
