Svitzer creates head of transformation role

The AP Moller-Maersk subsidiary promoted Ms Weymiens to spearhead its transformation journey and keep the company on track as it tackles decarbonisation and delivers customer services.

She has worked at Svitzer since April 2021, when she joined as head of commercial innovation.

Prior to joining Svitzer, Ms Weymiens worked for Maersk Growth as innovation program manager.

Outside the shipping industry, she has experience in strategic innovation roles at Implement Consulting and Johnson & Johnson, among others.

Ms Weymiens brings to her new role a wealth of knowledge in change management, and experience in building pro-innovation cultures and ecosystems.

She will work closely with the rest of the global leadership team to realise a transformation that focuses on customers, employees and communities.
