Gazelle Wind Power, which has developed an innovative foundation for floating offshore wind turbines, has agreed a memorandum of understanding with Titan Wind Energy (Suzhou) Co Ltd in Nantong, Jiangsu, China
The MoU commits Gazelle and Titan to broadening and deepening co-operation, and working to jointly advance the industrialisation and global deployment of floating wind power technology.
Gazelle’s next-generation floating offshore wind platform technology will be optimised to suit Titan Wind’s offshore equipment and manufacturing standards.
Gazelle Wind Power chief executive Jon Salazar said, “We share Titan Wind’s vision for scaling and industrialising floating offshore wind.
“This partnership is a strong endorsement of Gazelle’s technology from one of the most respected players in offshore manufacturing. By aligning our engineering standards and industrial capabilities, we are laying the foundation for large-scale commercial deployment.”
