Diverse Marine to build CTV for NR Marine Services

The new vessel, NR Predator, is a new design with an optimised catamaran hullform that has been extensively CFD tested for seakeeping coupled with reduced fuel consumption and emissions.

The vessel is being built as ‘hybrid ready’ with an insulated generator space ready to receive generators and batteries.

Initially, the vessel will be conventionally powered with quad Volvo Penta IPS900 engine and drive system, fitted with IMO Tier III SCR and urea injection exhaust systems to reduce the nitrogen oxide and sulphur oxide emissions levels.

Other features of the new craft include enhanced foredeck capacity and wheelhouse visibility, which enables skippers, crews and technicians to navigate challenging logistical assignments safely.

The deal includes an option for a second vessel of the same type.
