FLIR says no other mid-range camera has the flexibility and functionality of its new ThermaCAM T-Series. The compact unit is said to be half the weight of its nearest competitor and delivers higher-end camera performance for a modest price.
The new camera features include a lightweight magnesium frame and chassis to assist single-handed operation. All camera functions are accessible via joystick and buttons. The head can be turned through 120 deg so the best ergonomics for the task can be achieved.
The camera introduces an overlaying facility called Thermal Fusion that makes it much easier to see problem situations. This allows the automatic and seamless transition of images from thermal to visual and vice versa, on the screen, whilst retaining all measurement functions in both view modes.
The camera features text and voice annotation and video recording. An operator can sketch directly onto the 3.5-in (89mm) touch screen using a stylus housed in the camera body. All models are compatible with the latest ThermaCAM Reporter 8.2 software, a wizard-based reporting suite with advanced imaging processing and temperature functions. FT
