Pasco Gas takes tanks for medium-sized LPG carrier newbuild

The 45,000-m³ vessel was ordered as an option following an earlier newbuild contract signed in February 2023. The Wärtsilä scope of supply is the same for both ships, which are being constructed at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard. 

Wärtsilä Gas Solutions sales manager for cargo handling systems Hans Jakob Buvarp said, “We are pleased to add this vessel for Pasco Gas to our list of references and to extend our close and long relationship with HMD.”

The Wärtsilä equipment is scheduled for delivery to the yard commencing in July 2025.

The Finnish manufacturer is also supplying cargo handling systems and LPG fuel suuply systems for four gas tankers under construction at China’s Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co for shipowner Avance Gas.
