Sabik Offshore and Orga Aviation to market navaids for offshore windfarms

Carmanah Technologies Corporation has announced that its subsidiary, Sabik Offshore in Schwerin, Germany, and Orga Aviation BV of Schiedam, The Netherlands, have signed an agreement to develop and market integrated marine aids to navigation and aviation obstruction solutions for safe navigation in the vicinity of offshore windfarms.

Sabik Offshore has been providing marine aids to navigation and ID marking solutions for offshore windfarms since 2008. Often, these Sabik Offshore solutions have been complemented with aviation obstruction products made by Orga. Orga has an established reputation for providing aviation obstruction lights.

The agreement will formalise the inclusion of Orga Aviation obstruction products and Sabik Offshore marine aids to navigation products in an integrated system solution for windfarms designed, managed and marketed by Sabik Offshore.

“Orga Aviation is the most experienced aviation obstruction lighting provider in the industry,” claimed Carmanah’s chief executive John Simmons. “Sabik Offshore’s collaboration with Orga will provide the offshore wind market with a fully integrated solution that is efficient, highly reliable, and safe.”
