Windea CTV takes delivery of second crew transfer vessel from St John’s Shipbuilding

The new CTV was designed by Incat Crowther and will be operated by Windea CTV, which is a partnership between Hornblower Wind and MidOcean Wind. The new vessel is the yard’s third CTV delivery in six months.

“St Johns has done an admirable job delivering two out of the three CTVs we ordered from the yard,” said Windea CTV managing partner Bradley Neuberth. “These projects take a long time and have endured difficult macroeconomic conditions.”

St Johns Ship Building has undergone a significant transformation over the past two years, including the modernisation of its shipbuilding capabilities and investment in new personnel to allow production of multiple vessels concurrently. In 2022, St Johns was acquired by Americraft Marine, part of Libra Group.
