Maritime Hybrid & Electric, Europe

Powering the drive towards a sustainable maritime sector
To complement the launch of our hugely successful webinar week series, Riviera’s 2020 conference programme has moved online, allowing our global communities to continue to connect, network and gather knowledge whilst remaining safe until our live conference programme returns. Networking is a key element of our virtual conferences with ample opportunity to arrange your meetings, keep on top of your daily routine, and still have some personal time.
After the successful launch event in Bergen in 2019, the Maritime Hybrid & Electric Conference will return in a new interactive virtual format, bringing together industry leaders to discuss the latest developments in maritime hybrid and electric technologies driving this dynamic sector, with a regional focus on Europe.
Driven by the compelling benefits of reduced fuel consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and maintenance, application of hybrid and electric and hydrogen fuel cell technologies is accelerating across the sector. These clean technologies will play a pivotal role in the decades ahead as the maritime sector transitions towards decarbonisation.
This year’s online agenda, delivered by leading authorities in the sector, will provide a detailed analysis of technology and regulatory developments over the past 12 months. It will cover innovations in battery technology, showcase the benefits of electrification, assess the safety factors and present the latest updates on projects from across Europe.
Prior to this event, Riviera are hosting a two-day virtual conference on Maritime Hydrogen and Fuel Cells. Further information can be found here
