Offshore Wind Journal Conference 2022

09:00 - 17:00
London

Winds of change drive spectacular growth in demand

Following a necessary break to our live events, it was a pleasure to welcome the offshore wind community back live to London in November 2021 and we are delighted to follow up on that success with the 2022 Offshore Wind Journal Conference, which takes place on 14 June.

The offshore wind market is booming. More and more countries are adopting offshore wind as a way to develop clean energy and decarbonise, from Europe to the US, from South America to Asia, from the Baltic to Australasia, and from the Mediterranean to Norway. At the same time, in established offshore wind markets such as the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, targets for offshore wind capacity have been raised significantly.

Developments such as these are driving the need for a huge number of new vessels that will install, operate and maintain offshore windfarms. As wind turbines have grown in size and windfarms are developed further from shore, so the need has also grown for new technology to lift components and maintain them once in service. And at the heart of all of these developments is the need to decarbonise the supply chain: that means green vessels for a green industry, and increased demand for new types of propulsion such as hydrogen, batteries and other fuels, with zero-emissions vessels on the horizon.

In 2022, the programme for the Offshore Wind Journal Conference will continue to focus on these and new trends, and continue to provide a forum for offshore wind professionals to discuss, debate and explore opportunities in the industry.

Delegates at the Offshore Wind Journal Conference in 2022 will gain access to the latest industry data, market trends and drivers as industry leaders assess technologies, designs and concepts of operation for next-generation windfarms.
