MIS Marine appoints executive manager in Americas
Marine assurance and vetting systems organisation MIS Marine has appointed Gonzalo Mera Truffini as its executive manager for the Americas
He joins as MIS Marine’s first representative in the region to grow existing and new business activities.
MIS Marine provides the shipping industry with marine assurance and vetting software using data and IT systems.
Mr Truffini previously worked as the marine assurance manager at Argentina-based energy group YPF. There he founded the marine assurance department and was responsible for the vetting department and the ocean and inland oil spill and emergency response team.
