Two DP3-class MPSVs, two Ulstein PX105 PSVS and four AHTS vessels are being offered on a Chinese auction platform in February and March
Auctions have been scheduled in February and March for eight Bourbon OSVs, including two 12-year-old, DP3-class multi-purpose support vessels (MPSVs) along with their bareboat charters that are listed at a starting price of US$35M each.
Offered on Shipbid.net, Bourbon Evolution 807 and Bourbon Evolution 805 were both built in China in 2014, each with an overall length of 100 m, beam of 21 m, clear deck of 940 m2, deadweight of 4,630 tonnes, a main deck crane with a 150-tonne capacity, accommodation for 105 and under BV class.
Bourbon Evolution 805 will go on the block on 10 February, and Bourbon Evolution 807 on 6 February. Both are part of the Bourbon Evolution series of subsea vessels built more than a decade ago. The registered owner of the vessels is Neptune Offshore Pte, Singapore, while the manager is Bourbon Offshore Surf, according to specs shared on the Shipbid.net platform.
VesselsValue, a Veson Nautical platform, puts the market value of Bourbon Evolution 807 at more than US$68M and Bourbon Evolution 805 at US$65M. With few such sophisticated vessels available, both may draw bids.
Other vessels being offered at auction in February are two Ulstein PX105 platform supply vessels (PSVs) Bourbon Clear and Bourbon Front, both at a starting price of US$19M. An additional four anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels will be put up for bid at separate auctions in March: Bourbon Liberty 309, Bourbon Tong Kam, Bourbon Jinamanee, and Bourbon Liberty 320, with starting prices at US$5.05M to US$7.00M. All were built between 2009 and 2014.
