HaiSea Marine has chosen deck machinery for its LNG-powered escort tugs being built to support gas carriers at a new export terminal in British Columbia
Markey Machinery is supplying DESF-52UL electric escort winches with an 80-mm HMPE line.
Markey is supplying stern-mounted TESS-52UL electric emergency tow winch with render and recover controls.
Also to be installed, will be a single speed CEP-60 electric capstan, working with mooring lines to 5 tonnes pull at 65 ft/min speeds, and two bow-mounted VEPA-16 vertical anchor windlass machines.
