Deepwater decommissioning base planned for Lerwick 1

AF Decom Offshore UK Limited, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen ASA, and Lerwick Port Authority have entered into an exclusivity agreement to develop a new deepwater quay facility at Dales Voe, Lerwick, Shetland.

The companies plan to make the facility a fully fledged decommissioning centre capable of meeting the growing UK requirement for the decommissioning of major structures located in the northern North Sea. OSJ
