The Oslo, Norway-listed shipowner gained a new contract from Peterson for a platform supply vessel. This Havyard 832-design vessel will operate out of the offshore supply base of Den Helder, the Netherlands, under a one-year contract. Peterson has options to extend this contract for a further two years if required.
In Brazil, Havila Shipping gained a contract extension for its subsea support vessel Havila Harmony until the end of 2026. OceanPact Maritime Services will use this 2005-built vessel to support the maintenance of subsea infrastructure and provide oil pollution prevention services offshore Brazil.
It has options to extend this bareboat charter for another year if needed. Havila Shipping, which operates 14 vessels, gained an initial bareboat charter from OceanPact for Havila Harmony in July 2020.
