GTT to supply tank design for new LNG carriers

The shipowner was not disclosed. GTT will design the tanks of these two vessels, which will each offer a total cargo capacity of 200,000 m³ and will be fitted with the company’s patented Mark III Flex+ membrane containment system. 

Delivery of these vessels is scheduled between Q2 2027 and Q4 2027. 

Separately, GTT has won an order from South Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries for the tank design of three new LNG carriers on behalf of an unnamed Asian shipowner.

GTT will design the tanks of these three vessels, which will each offer a total cargo capacity of 174,000 m³ and will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system. Those vessels will be delivered between Q4 2026 and Q4 2027.
