Ta San Shang Marine has taken delivery of the commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV) TSS Cruiser, a Damen design built in Vietnam that is designed for work offshore Taiwan
TSS Cruiser was delivered to the company, a joint venture between Taiwan’s Ta Tong Marine Group and Japan’s Mitsui OSK Lines, on 4 May 2026.
The vessel was built in Vietnam and is due to enter service shortly supporting offshore windfarms in Taiwan.
Building on the design of the joint venture’s first SOV, TSS Pioneer, TSS Cruiser has expanded accommodation capacity, sufficient for 120 people, and has a higher capacity crane than TSS Pioneer.
The deck space has also been optimised for work during the construction and commissioning phases of offshore windfarms.
The vessel was built by Damen Shipyards Vietnam.
