Offshore Support Journal, Asia

Realigning your business for an industry in transformation
To complement the launch of our hugely successful webinar week series, Riviera’s 2020 conference programme has moved online, allowing our global communities to continue to connect, network and gather knowledge whilst remaining safe until our live conference programme returns. Networking is a key element of our virtual conferences with ample opportunity to arrange your meetings, keep on top of your daily routine, and still have some personal time.
Offshore Support Journal Conference, Asia (OSJ Asia) is the leading annual regional event for players in the OSV sector, this year brought direct to your desk in an exciting new interactive digital format on 2-3 December 2020. OSJ Asia will bring together, in a virtual setting, vessel owners, charterers, designers, shipbuilders, equipment manufacturers, technology innovators, financiers and class societies to network and make new connections.
As a regional conference in the global OSJ series, it follows the market closely and provides a platform for offshore professionals to discuss and debate potential strategies for survival, new approaches to operating in a sector in flux and identifying new commercial opportunities.
This year’s virtual agenda will focus on the challenges facing the sector in light of recent global events including fluctuating oil prices and COVID-19 – the fallout of which will have a long-lasting effect on the sector leading to a game-change in business dynamics and strategies.
In addition to assessing how companies can survive these challenging times, OSJ Asia will also review the commercial opportunities in alternative sectors including offshore wind, decommissioning, fisheries, and tourism. It will analyse innovative technologies driving cost reduction, fuel efficiencies and streamlining operations, alongside the role of communications and connectivity in delivering safe operations.
