Markey Machine has acquired JonRie InterTech to strengthen its position as a leader in deck machinery for marine and offshore applications
The Seattle, Washington, US-headquartered company will expand its range and experience in supplying and maintaining marine deck equipment, including towing winches.
Both Markey Machine and JonRie InterTech have delivered reliable, durable, custom-designed winch systems to the maritime and offshore sectors, with more than 100 years of combined experience.
This acquisition enables Markey Machine to expand its product offerings, strengthen its technical capabilities and raise its market presence.
“This acquisition enables us to leverage our synergies, enhance our capabilities, and better serve our customers with a comprehensive range of cutting-edge winch systems,” said Markey Machine chief executive Blaine Dempke.
Markey Machine is committed to continuing the JonRie product line and will enhance maintenance and service support to customers. It will also grow the specific market JonRie InterTech has catered to for years.
JonRie InterTech founder Brandon Durar expressed enthusiasm about the partnership.
