On Site Alignment (OSA) is expanding its global network by opening new offices in the United States and the United Arab Emirates
The company said the move is a response to increasing demand from the maritime industry for machinery alignment and troubleshooting services.
OSA managing director Arie Leeuwenburg said, “The international nature of the maritime industry means our services must be available at all shipping hubs worldwide, where we can serve our customers in a quicker and more efficient way.”
“Each year, since we started the business, we have received more requests than we could fulfil. Therefore, being close to our customers and being represented through the establishment of local offices is essential for our continued growth.”
The new additions will boost OSA’s existing team of dedicated service engineers based in offices located in the Netherlands, the United States and Singapore, with offices in Tampa, Florida and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates recently opened.
Network expansion activities are set to continue in 2022, with the establishment of an office in Shanghai, China later this year.
In addition to alignment services, OSA performs high-end mechanical services including onsite machining, vibration measurements and diagnosis, 3D survey, measuring and scanning and dynamic machine measurements.
The company has also established a worldwide dealership of the Shaftdesigner software which enables service engineers to make their own shaft calculations rather than waiting for OEMs to provide information. Today, this software is used by all of the major OEMs.
