Accelerating maritime decarbonisation through data and digital solutions 

Zero- and near-zero fuels are not available at scale to help international shipping meet IMO’s net-zero aspirations by 2050. But advanced digital solutions are available that can be implemented today to assess and improve engine performance, reducing both fuel consumption and cutting greenhouse gas emissions, while bettering an operator’s bottom line. 

“Every day that we’re not using a solution is a day that we are overpaying on emissions and the fuel that we’re burning” said Accelleron Digital Division and Group Digital Strategy president Cristian Corotto. He believes investing in such solutions will pay off today for operators and in the future when they transition to more expensive low- and zero-carbon fuels.
