Expanded conference programme = expanded business opportunities

Lightening talks, roundtables, a convivial dinner, sold out exhibition and a balanced programme of talks, presentations and debate drew a record attendance to Riviera’s November LNG Shipping & Terminals Conference in London.

The lightening talks - that delivered six slides in six minutes - proved especially popular with presenter and audience alike. Delegates appreciated the clear, concise and complete overview on the technology or solution being presented and then being able to follow up immediately with each presenter for 1-2-1 conversations at their exhibition stands over a buffet lunch. 

Roundtables - which covered such diverse topics as developments in the African LNG market; global LNG terminal expansion projects; the ship/shore link for the LPG industry and mooring line selection for FSRUs - gave attendees the opportunity to absorb key business intelligence, network with like-minded individuals and identify new partners and opportunities. 

The sense of community among attendees, exhibitors and supporters was reinforced at the evening drinks reception and gala dinner. The atmosphere was spirited and delegates found these two events the perfect way to combine networking, socialising and unwinding following a full and involving first day.
