The HTX series of waterjets builds on HamiltonJet’s legacy of fitting more than 60,000 waterjets into vessels around the globe over the last seven decades. The ground-breaking range features redefined performance - benefiting from high speed efficiency while also performing outstanding at low speeds, enhanced durability, and easier installation, due to the compact inboard footprint, narrow jet-spacing and low-profile design.

With its new hydrodynamic design and harnessing 3,100kw of power, the HTX65 delivers 3.5% more high speed efficiency, enabling vessels to achieve speeds exceeding 50 knots. This is complemented by a low-loss steering system that conserves fuel during course adjustments and minimises speed reduction during tight maneuvers.

At lower speeds, the HTX65 features a cavitation-resistant intake and pump design, providing up to 15% more peak bollard pull and greater sway thrust than other waterjets on the market. This enhancement improves maneuvering response, position holding capability, and vessel acceleration, making it ideal for operations requiring precise control. The steering systems have been optimised to deliver high precision while minimizing performance loss during turns and reducing helm loads.

The HTX65 has an increased impeller rating range for greater compatibility with a wider range of engines, and the fully integrated hydraulics and controls are designed for efficient space utilisation and seamless integration into various platforms.

Durability is a cornerstone of the entire HTX series. Through meticulous material selection, refined anode layout, and optimized coating systems, the waterjets achieve up to ten times greater corrosion resistance in challenging waters. Additionally, the internal anode life has been extended to two years, aligning maintenance schedules with other routine vessel services.
